On December 11, 2023, the CDC issued a laboratory advisory providing clinical testing guidance for patients with suspected viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHFs).  The CDC advises that although the likelihood of VHFs being carried to the United States by travelers is minimal, they urge all laboratory personnel to carefully examine the guidance.
